Roasted Tomatillo Salsa Verde


Ingredients:
  • 4 Tomatillos
  • ½ Green Pepper
  • 2 Jalapeno Peppers
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 2 Tb Fresh Lime Juice
  • Cilantro
  • Salt

Directions:
  1. Remove husk from tomatillos, rinse and cut in half.  Place halved tomatillos, peppers and garlic on a cook sheet and broil for about 5-7 minutes until slightly charred.
  2. Remove from cookie sheet and place all ingredients into a food processor and puree through. 
  3. Add salt to taste.
  4. Place in refrigerator to cool.
  5. Once cool, enjoy with tortilla chips or your favorite taco recipe.
